The International Standard Recording Code (ISRC) is an international standard code for uniquely identifying sound recordings and music video recordings. The code was developed by the recording industry in conjunction with the ISO technical committee, which codified the standard as ISO 3901 in 1986, and updated it in 2001.
If you want to release your music on streaming and download portals you need isrc codes. You also need the codes if you want to press CDs. Per track you need 1 isrc code, this code is linked to all important information such as: band name, musician name, title, composer, author, playing time and more.
You can order the isrc codes directly in the streaming module so that you can immediately process them in the DDP Image(master) file before uploading the music in wav files to the Muzika-P platform for release.
Now, if you order isrc codes via Muzika-P or you use your own isrc codes, all results of your release are collected by us, and we ensure that this information is visible in your Muzika-P account every month.
We do not charge any money for the isrc codes and are therefore free of charge.
On the Muzika-P platform you can distribute your digital music worldwide without limits to all major DSPs. This is allowed under your own artist or band account. It is therefore NOT allowed to release music that is NOT yours. Each band or artist needs their own account to release their own music.
